About this Position

We are seeking a Mid-level GoLang Backend Developer to build fast, scalable, and secure backend services that power web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in GoLang fundamentals, understands service architecture, and is comfortable working with REST APIs and databases in production environments. You will work closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver efficient APIs, microservices, and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using GoLang and a framework like GIN.
• Build secure and efficient REST APIs for internal and external use.
• Write clean, testable code with proper documentation.
• Integrate with third-party services and cloud APIs.
• Optimize system performance and manage database queries with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Participate in regular code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior developers when needed.
• Collaborate in Agile teams for planning and delivery.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, peer code reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

Skill/Personality Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you have:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess 3+ years experience in GoLang and a framework.
• Understand concurrency, goroutines, and Go’s memory model.
• Can reference a company or product where your Go work was applied.
• Are confident using PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Redis, and Docker.
• Have basic familiarity with cloud deployments or DevOps practices.
• Possess a great culture of integrity, communication, and team-work.
• Write organized, reusable, well-documented code.
